Am I crazy?
Can I really knit Eunny Jang's Venezia Pullover from the new Winter Interweave Knits...in a MONTH? For NaKniSweMo?
I hope so.

I went to my LYS with a completely different project in mind but left with a bag full of colorful yarn for Venezia. I love this sweater. It is stylish and elegant. I love how fitted it is and the 3/4 length sleeves. Yup, this is the project for me.
I chose some different colors than the project called for (mainly switching out reds for the golds and some different shades of blue) so I hope they look good together. I had SO much fun picking out the colors. I will swatch tonight so I will know for sure if I like how the colors work together. Cross your fingers for me.
I am crazy right? This is an insane sweater. And in a month? Yikes. But I don't really care. I am going to do it anyway. Yea!

It's a gorgeous sweater. I will be anxious to see how it looks knit up, particularly the drape (or lack of it).

I am going to attempt this sweater also. I have my yarn ready and am just waiting for the magazine to come out. (no subscription). Can you tell me what needle size it calls for? Good luck!

Of course you can! Think of it as the Olympics with a couple of extra weeks...should be a breeze LOL! Actually, I can't wait to see it... I think having those 3/4 length sleeves should make all the difference!

I don't know whether or not you can do it, but it would be cool if you did! One way or another you'll end up with a cool sweater. Deadlines Shmeadlines.

Oh, I'm so jealous! I don't have the patience to knit sweaters, but there were so many beautiful ones in IK! I'll live vicariously through you and your sweater.

You can do it. You can do it! I'll be sitting in the sidelines cheering you on.

Yep, I'd say crazy...but you may as well try. I'd love to see the sweater knit and your color changes, too.

I live with Erin and I can confirm that, yes, she is in fact crazy.
But if anyone can do it, it is Erin. She's relentless.

I have no doubt whatsoever! And it will be beautiful!!

Well, Eunny finished it in 5 days, but she didn't sleep or anything, just so you know ;) I wish you luck - you sure have a task ahead of you!
Beautiful colors you chose!!

Hey there! Thanks so much for visiting my blog and the compliments on my Blanket Cardigan! I'm always happy to find new blogs, myself, so I stopped by yours. You've got quite an awesome gallery of finished knits--many knits I've been lusting to make (anna, norwegian stockings, stained glass scarf)!
As for the Eunny sweater in a month... I will simply say that it is a wonderful choice (and wonderful choice of colors to boot), and I will be sure to keep up with your progress! Your ambition is admirable!

yarn crazy, definately - but this is a good thing!
Happy knitting ~ I think you'll be in sweater heaven this month!

You are crazy! Though not as crazy as I would be if I attempted this in that short a period of time. And I can't wait to see it finished.

Wow! I can't wait to see it! You've inspired me...I frogged my 3/4 finished hourglass sweater because I decided that it was too short, so I am going to challenge myself to the NaKniSweMo too.

maybe a bit insane, but you inspired me to sign up for it! So perhaps we're both a bit crazy! :-)

Yes. You are crazy.
I wish you luck.
(even if you miss the deadline you're going to have one gorgeous sweater on your hands)

Any chance of some documentation on the color substitutions you made? I love the way they are working up!
